Woodward Certification
What’s it mean to you as a customer or skater?
The two most important elements in any skate park design is RAMP GEOMETRY and FLOW. Woodward® Ramps and Rails have been manufactured and designed to key on each of these elements.
Ramp Geometry: Woodward® Camp’s design and building experience is the industry model. Each component used in manufacturing Woodward Ramps and Rails has been thoroughly tested and evaluated to meet the demanding requirements of the Woodward Camp staff, pros, campers, and design experts.
That expertise has been directly transferred to the design geometry of Woodward Ramps and Rails.
From the transition plate to the angle of the wedge and the coping, every detail is looked at to ensure the best possible and most skateable equipment within the industry.
Flow: One of the most important elements of skate park design is flow. A skate park’s flow determines how a rider transitions from one ramp to the next and how he/she moves from one area of the skate park to the next. Proper flow allows for beginner, intermediate and advanced session areas, each with several different ride lines.
Boarders, in-line skaters and BMX bikers each can require different flow to achieve the speed and heights required to perform his/her favorite tricks.
