Health and Safety Playworld Systems recognises its responsibilities for the health and safety of everyone working on its operations and we have designated health and safety as a strategic risk. Health and Safety objectives complement our business aims and are recognised to add value to the business beyond merely ensuring compliance with legislation. The Company adheres to the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive and maintains a thorough Health and Safety Policy Playworld Systems is accredited to CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) and has been selected as a member of Constructionline. At Playworld Systems we are fully committed to ensuring the safety of our employees, our customers and the general public during the duration of our projects. We ensure this by preparing fully comprehensive Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all work undertaken. Our complete Health & Safety Policy is available upon request. All of our play equipment is supplied and installed in accordance with the European Standards EN1176 and EN1177. Playworld Systems maintains a proactive approach to safety compliance. We constantly update existing equipment and create new activities that meet or exceed both U.S. and international requirements, including CPSC guidelines and ASTM, EN and CSA standards. Playworld Systems is a founding member of the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA), a member-driven organization whose mission is to assist in providing safe environments for children to play! In the interest of playground safety, IPEMA provides a third party certification service whereby a designated independent laboratory validates a participant's certification of conformance to the ASTM standard F1487, Standard Consumer Safety performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use.
